Eligibility Criteria for Admission :
A candidate shall be admitted to the First year B.Sc. (HomeScience) six semester degree
course only if he/she satisfies the following conditions:-
He / She must have passed the XII std (Science, commerce or Arts)
examination conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher
Secondary education or an examination of any statutory Board or University
recognized as equivalent .thereto
OR
Candidates having offered vocational course (10+2) with
Home Science/ Hotel management & catering Technology/ Bakery/
Confectionary / Cookery/Food Science/Technology.
Admission Procedure :
The admission of candidates to B.Sc. Home Science course would be done as per university rules and
procedures.
As per scheduled dates notified by the university :
The students who are eligible as per cutoff lists can take admission, subject to the availability of seats.
The students would fill the college admission form. All those who are granted admission
provisionally are required to pay the college fees, on or before the dates prescribed for the same and
also submit the following documents:

Certificates of the examinations passed including Provisional certificate from school (original
& one self-attested photocopy).

Birth certificate/ Class X certificate((original & one self-attested photocopy)
-
Statement of marks : Class X & XII ((original & one self-attested photocopy)
-
Certificate of health
-
Five copies of recent passport size photograph (indicating name, class and address behind the
photograph).

Certificate from Competent Authority for admission under special categaory

Foreign Students have to come through foreign students registry.
The student seeking admission to the B.Sc. Home Science Course is required to have successfully completed 12 years schooling (10 + 2) through an examination conducted by Board / University. The admission shall be made on merit on the basis of criteria notified by the college after taking into account the reservation order issued by the government from time to time.
Procedure of Application:
Students desirous to join Home Science Degree programme should apply to the principal in the application form (form to be purchased from the office),or apply Online admission through the link of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad(www.bamu.net) along with the following documents :

• Mark sheet of H.Sc. examination with two attested xerox copies.

• School / College leaving certificate.

• Three passport size photographs.
-
• Mark sheet of S.S.C examination
-
• caste certificate attested zerox copies

• If student having in More than one year acadamic gap then submite gap certificate
Applicants from outside the State of Maharashtra will be required to submit the following additional documents:

• Migration Certificate from previous Board.
-
• Passing certificate of the H.Sc. (or Equivalent) examination along with an attested xerox copy.

• Transfer / Leaving certificate from the school / college previously attended.

• Photocopy of Caste / Physically Handicapped Certificate (whichever applicable).
Admission to the course will be made strictly on the basis of merit. No weightage will be given to the candidates for honours at the graduate level.

• All admissions will be made on provisional basis subject to approval of the University.

• Candidates, who have failed in the 1st year Examination of the degree course of this college and seek re-admission, shall be considered as fresh candidates for the purpose of admission.

• Incomplete admission forms will not be entertained.
-
• The applicants must fill the forms in their own handwriting.
-
• Original certificates and testimonials must be submitted at the time of interview.

• Admission forms can be deposited during office hours in the college office i.e. 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. on all working days except Sundays and public/gazetted holidays.

• No compartment cases will be considered for admission.
Cancellation of Admission
If any candidate has been granted admission based on false information with respect to age, subject,
percentageof marks, special categories etc., her admission will stand cancelled whenever it comes
tothe notice of the College / University.

B.Sc Home Science is three year degree programme
Course Fee : Rs. 16500/-
Fee Concessions :
Concession in tuition & other fees shall be available to the candidates belonging to Maharashtra State
only subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by the respective authorities offering
such concessions in fees time to time.
100% concession in tuition fees shall be given to the following backward class candidates.
SC/ST/VJ DT NT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/SBC/OBC
Note : Candidates claiming for the fee concession under reservation category shall produce the
requisite certificates as may be specified by the respective Social Justice and Tribal Welfare
Departments.
Scholarship :
Meritorious open candidates shall also be given scholarship of Rs. 7500/- (Approx. 50% of tuition fee) in
tuition fees by the Sanjeevan College.
